tape loops
Sonic archaeology from forgotten cassettes — ripped, looped, and reanimated by SUBQUiRE.
What is Tape Loops?
Tape Loops is a living archive and a remix lab. I hunt down obscure cassettes — sermons, field recordings, kids’ dramas,
self-help, unlabeled weirdness — digitize them, then bend them into new forms. Preservation meets transformation. If a sound’s got ghosts, we invite them to dance.
This project is open-handed: producers and sound nerds can sample the posted WAVs, make something new, and
share it back. Credit is appreciated (“SUBQUiRE – Tape Loops”). If a rightsholder taps my shoulder, we handle it like adults.
Sample Packs & Stems
Royalty-free for personal/indie use. For commercial TV/film/brand work, contact me for a quick clearance note. Please credit “SUBQUiRE – Tape Loops” where you can.
Contribute a Tape
Got a shoebox of mystery? Sermons, language tapes, meditation, field recordings, answering machine microcassettes — yes please. Include any story you have.
- Condition: playable is ideal (I’ll triage the wounded).
- Rights: by sending, you confirm you own the physical tape. If a rightsholder appears later, we’ll respect takedowns.
- Credits: I’ll shout you out on the volume page.

Ethos & Rights
We’re here to preserve and transform cultural crumbs with care. If you’re a rightsholder and want credit, context, or removal, email me and I’ll sort it quickly. The goal is celebration, not exploitation.
