TLDR: I am starting a new artist alias/music persona/music company and want to offer to share what I’m working on with you.
I have a Discord channel where I post a bunch of my AI art, and if you are active on the app, it would be cool to invite you in to my world and get feedback collaboratively for some of my ideas. It could also be a place where you put your content (I hate that word, but here we are). I’ve been working on a new logo for my new artist alias/possible company name. Subquire. Or SubQuire. Or SUBQUiRE… I haven’t really decided how to go about font stylizations. We’ll get there.
I’m super excited about this new alias/possible company name is because I’ve had the problem of figuring my new musical “identity” for years. I’ve wanted to get away from Fidelium for, oh I dunno, a decade? I’ve been making music almost that whole time but I haven’t had a real album or even EP release since 2015 I think? Last LP “I’ll be famous when I’m dead” came out in 2013. Ugh! Fidelium has done BEEN dead.
Anyway, the other day, I was sitting in my office chair, on a beautiful Sacramento day and, like a lightning bolt, the idea for SubQuire shot into my brain like a cosmic neural text message, and immediately I sensed how perfect of a word it is for ME. I caught a glimpse of building something with it, so I will go where this inspiration takes me.
What the word means (I made it up): 1) Anyone who knows me is aware of my love for all things bass music. I am pretty much obsessed with sub-bass tones, sine waves, and low frequency oscillators — I use them like an ensemble instrument. 2) All through my music education, I was a choir boy, slash 2nd tenor in several different ensembles and groups. I know, I know: NERD hehehe. The incredible choral music we sang together, still reverberates through my mind and resonates in both my soul and my current music style today.
I’m in the beginning process of getting the design work going I have the domain (http://subquire.com!) and I am beginning to move forward and just generate shitload of artwork with Midjourney, via Discord. I will regularly share what I’m working on and hopefully record the process and journey. I would appreciate your feedback or even if you could pick the one you like the most. If you don’t like them at all but have any suggestions, I would love to hear them.

Eventually I am going to have a professional designer take the best ideas and run with them.
Apologies for the long-winded message. I am not a trained designer, and using AI has helped provide me with ideas for how I envision this project aesthetically, from branding to the actual music I produce. And yes, I am working on music too and will share soon for feedback.
Getting critique is important for this process. I understand if you don’t have time, I know how it is 😃 trust me. I just wanted to share what I’m working on with my artistically-inclined circle to see if I can fish any kind of response.
